Donald Trump had many complaints during his “no tax on tips” event in Las Vegas on Thursday night. However, in a surprising moment of confusion, one of his frustrations was about who the president would be in 2025.
“Last year, our country was a disgrace,” Trump said.
“Everyone around the world was making fun of us. And now, they aren’t laughing anymore.”
This is just another sign that something might be seriously wrong with the president’s mind.
Over the past year and a half of his second term, Trump’s speeches have become more confusing and unclear, and his actions have become more unpredictable, raising concerns nationwide about his health and ability to handle the most important job in the country.
Just last week, Trump attacked several of his closest allies, posted online that he would completely destroy Iranian civilization, and started a conflict with Pope Leo XIV, claiming the Catholic leader was “weak on crime.”
This week, Trump forgot when Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away, and that one of his most vocal Republican critics, North Carolina Senator Thom Tillis, is still in the Senate.
He also chose to attend a UFC event instead of leading peace talks with Iran, and he took a DoorDash McDonald’s to the Oval Office in a public relations stunt that he later admitted was “tacky.”
His actions have caused a shift in opinions across both the left and the right.
A group of MAGA thinkers, including Alex Jones, Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson, and Megyn Kelly, have criticized Trump’s recent behavior, especially regarding the war in Iran and his rejection of his own political supporters.
On the other hand, liberal lawmakers have used the Twenty-Fifth Amendment to formally question Trump’s mental state.
Fifty House Democrats introduced legislation on Wednesday to form a commission that could remove Trump from office and replace him with Vice President JD Vance.
Other Democrats have also called for Trump to have his brain tested by the end of the month.
House Judiciary Committee chair Jamie Raskin recently asked Trump to take another cognitive test by April 25, pointing to his growing aggressiveness toward Iran.
