Rep.Ilhan Omar responded quickly after President Donald Trump used his speech at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner to make a racist comment about her.He said she “ought to get the hell out of our country” and “shouldn’t be here.”
Omar replied on X within minutes.
She said, “The person in charge of our country says this but doesn’t have the guts or proof to take on me.This shows how low his intelligence is.Trump is the one who needs to leave the country because he’s destroying it and making us look like fools around the world.”
Trump focused on Ilhan Omar, who was born in Somalia, and criticized Democrats.
He brought up an old, false story about her private life before attacking her directly.
He said, “It’s becoming so bad and dangerous that Ilhan Omar, one of my favorites, and her brother are thinking about moving together, and they are very in love.”
Then he mocked her for a mistake she made in a recent speech and added, “I’m not surprised because she’s a low IQ person and also very dishonest.
She ought to get the hell out of our country.She shouldn’t be here.She shouldn’t be in our country.”
The crowd didn’t laugh at his comments.

Trump also said that Omar was under investigation for fraud and criticized changes to her reported wealth, but he didn’t provide any proof for these claims.
