But McConnell didn’t do any of those things.
McConnell (or was, depending on what you believe) is still a strong supporter of war, a big fan of Israel, and has always been against Americans’ right to privacy.
He also didn’t do anything to stop Trump from attacking Massie during the primary because Massie supported releasing the Epstein files.
Massie is joking about Republicans like Scott Jennings, who say McConnell is still alive and can talk.
Jennings, who often appears on CNN, claimed he talked to McConnell on the phone and discussed Iran, Ukraine, the situation in Maine, his visit to the Trump Presidential Library, and some Senate history.
Very few people believe Jennings.
The easiest explanation is that he made up the story to cover up something about McConnell.Trump’s group doesn’t want McConnell to leave his seat because that would lead to a special election.If that happens, Massie might run and could win.
