In a very straightforward interview with Kristen Welker on NBC’s Meet the Press, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) openly accused Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and FBI Director Kash Patel of lying under oath about the Epstein files.
He believes that no one will face justice with them in charge. When asked if he would reveal more names from the Epstein files soon, Massie responded: “Yes. Todd Blanche is breaking the law. There are still millions of files they haven’t shared… I don’t think we can achieve any convictions with Todd Blanche and Kash Patel at the top because they have both lied by saying there’s no one else in the files. Even Melania doesn’t believe that.”
Massie stated that it’s clear from the victims’ lawyers that the FBI has interview reports with victims that include detailed accounts of the abuse, which have not been released, and the ones that are available are heavily redacted.
He also highlighted that the Epstein Files Transparency Act is now a law and will keep requiring file releases even after this administration is over.
It’s unusual to see a current Republican Congressman, even a newly declared lame duck, publicly accusing two of Trump’s top law enforcement officials of lying under oath about the Epstein files while survivors and the public continue to demand full transparency and justice.
Massie is voicing what many already suspect: the DOJ and FBI have turned into a protection scheme for Trump. The millions of files are still being slowly released, redacted, and hidden years later, and there’s one reason for this. There is a wealth of information about Donald Trump in the Epstein files that could and should end his presidency immediately.
