“We are dealing with the most corrupt, callous, and incompetent presidential administration in the history of the United States,” said the former vice president during a meeting with a group of Democratic women in Michigan. “Let’s talk about this war as an example of that claim,” she added. “He started a war that the American people didn’t want, putting our service members at risk. There’s no arguing this point. No American interests were involved, and according to our own intelligence, Iran wasn’t an imminent threat and wasn’t developing nuclear weapons. Trump started this war because Netanyahu asked him to. Netanyahu wanted to destroy Iran so Israel can expand its territory in Gaza, Lebanon, and beyond. Trump has turned the U.S. military into Netanyahu’s personal army.”
Harris continued, “This war has had many effects, including raising gas prices.
On average, people are paying at least $15 more to fill their tanks, and diesel is up 50%, which is used to deliver groceries and household goods. These higher costs fall on consumers.” She emphasized that Trump promised to make groceries cheaper but instead raised prices through his harmful tariffs. Now, the war is making things even more expensive.
She added, “We should also understand that this war is another way for him to distract from the Epstein files.
He’s acting like he’s strong and ready to use American military power against anyone he chooses.”
“When I was Vice President, I met with over 150 world leaders, including presidents, prime ministers, and kings, many of them more than once.
I built relationships and spent a lot of time in the Situation Room, the West Wing, and the Oval Office,” she said. “This president is the first of either party since World War II to abandon America’s responsibility to support our allies, our friendships, and respect international rules like sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
She continued, “As a result, our allies now see us as unreliable, and we’ve lost some of our influence.
The world is starting to view China, despite its authoritarian ways, as a more stable partner. The only way out of this problem is to elect Democrats and start fixing the damage done by the MAGA movement.”
