The judge has told the Justice Department and Todd Blanche to reply by Thursday to the latest request in the @KatiePhang case, which is asking for more Epstein Files to be released, according to MeidasTouch’s Scott Macfarlane on X.Blanche and his group need to explain why they haven’t given over FBI agent interview notes properly.
The judge in this case is U.S.
District Judge Emmet G.Sullivan.
Katie Phang, who is an attorney and used to be on MSNBC, got a preliminary court order in June to make the Justice Department unredact important Epstein documents.
But instead of following that order, the DOJ has been slow and hasn’t complied.And we know why.Trump’s name is all over those files.In the documents we’ve seen, he’s accused of seriously bad sexual abuse of children.
Phang wrote on her Substack last week: “On June 26, 2026, Judge Sullivan gave me a preliminary injunction, telling Todd Blanche to ‘immediately start looking at and sending over foreign-language materials that might be shared under the Epstein Files Transparency Act.’”
“As of August 15, 2026, that hasn’t happened.
Also, the court didn’t let Blanche say why he couldn’t do the translations; it ordered him to ‘immediately start looking at and sending over’ the materials,” she added.
