Trump once again started a disrespectful campaign against a well-known female journalist for just telling the truth.
Kristen Welker, the host of Meet the Press, which used to be a respected show but is now seen as fake news, said that Donald Trump’s support for candidates has “mixed results.” She pointed out that recent wins by Darline Graham and Mike Mazzei are 100% for the U.S.
Senate and 98% for the U.S.House.Trump screamed this into the online world.
He wrote that it’s unfair for someone to say this while working on public airwaves and added that the results are available.
Because of this wrong information, he said she will be reported to the FCC for punishment.
He called the press a disgrace to the country and hoped that Chairman Brendan Carr and his team at the Commission would take this threat seriously.
All Welker did was report on election results that were widely covered by every news outlet and noted that Trump’s support isn’t as strong as it used to be.
More of his candidates are being rejected by his base, which is starting to lose faith in him.
For Trump to threaten a journalist for simply sharing known facts shows a new level of insecurity, paranoia, and authoritarian behavior.
Kristen Welker is a great journalist and deserves better than this.
In the end, this is just the angry outbursts of America’s First Toddler.
Any action against Welker will be met with a lawsuit so fast, it will make his head spin.
