The woman who was attacked by Donald Trump supporters at his Ohio rally is speaking out, and she has a few choice words for the president who mocked her appearance as she was being removed.
Blake, a 29-year-old protester who attended Trump’s rally in Youngstown wearing a homemade “Release the Epstein Files” T-shirt, says she was punched, grabbed by her hair, and left injured after standing up and shouting “Fascist!”
But rather than expressing regret, she’s firing back.
“It makes me think about how weak and pathetic of a man he is that he has to consistently punch down on women, instead of trying to uplift others,” Blake told PunchUp.
“He is a disgrace to the title of president because he is not; he is a dictator,” she added.
The confrontation unfolded during Trump’s October 12 rally, where footage showed a chaotic scene as people in the crowd turned on the protester.
“I felt the first punch and fell back into the seats,” Blake recalled. “I tried to swing back and felt someone grab my hair and hold my arm down.”
As she was being escorted out, Trump drew attention to her appearance rather than condemning the violence.
“He’s a fat guy. Wow. Wow. Gotta go on a diet fast,” the president said, apparently referring to Blake as a man.
Now she’s returning the criticism.
“He too is not in ‘peak health’ and has never been, when his favorite place to eat is McDonald’s,” Blake told PunchUp.
Blake said she suffered bruising, a busted lip, back injuries, and hair loss following the confrontation.
Despite those injuries, she insists she doesn’t regret speaking out.
“I just wanted to stand up for what was right and to fight for my country and everything that is happening right now,” she explained.
The contrast is difficult to ignore: A woman says she was physically assaulted while protesting at a presidential rally, and the president’s public response was to mock her weight.
Now, days later, she has answered him in her own words.
And judging by her interview, being punched, humiliated, and dragged out of a rally hasn’t made her any less willing to challenge Donald Trump.
