Donald Trump angered many people on the left on social media with a new meme he shared.The meme, posted on Saturday afternoon on his social media platform Truth Social, shows him wearing a hat that says “Trump 2028” with the words “We are going to win” underneath.
Even though Trump has talked about running again before, he has also said he can’t.
On Tuesday, he told reporters that the law stops him from running for a third term.”Everyone asks me that question,” Trump said.”You know the law is very strong on that.I would love to run, but the law is very strong.I get asked by everyone.Even tonight, they’re shouting at the event, ‘2028!’ No, everyone wants me to do it, but the law is very strong.”
Still, the meme sent a message to many on the left that Trump is considering running again, which goes against the Constitution.
