Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) said the Republican Party will lose control of the House in the 2026 midterm elections. She claimed the GOP and President Donald Trump are putting “Americans last.”
Greene left Congress in January after she had a falling out with Trump.
She made these comments about Trump and the GOP on X.
“Turning your back on your promises and acting in very bad ways, like calling one of your top allies a ‘traitor’ for sharing the Epstein files and not going along with MAGA, has consequences,” she wrote on X. “The 2026 election is over, and so will the 2028 election if Trump keeps putting Americans last.”
Last month, Greene talked about Trump’s priorities.
“Americans don’t care about Trump building a ballroom in the White House or fixing the Kennedy Center when they are paying $4+ per gallon for gas and almost $6 for diesel because of another useless foreign war,” she wrote in a caption.
“Americans are suffering.
They are suffering from record high credit card debt. They are suffering from very expensive health insurance. They are suffering from high living costs. They are suffering from rising inflation and a falling dollar, all because of bad decisions by bad politicians.
“Republicans will lose the House and maybe the Senate too because Trump and Republicans said they would put America first but instead treated America last.”
“Democrats put illegal immigrants and transgender people before Americans and offer no new solutions to fix the problems they made.
Both parties are a failure.”
“Don’t tell your voters you have to vote for them when you have broken your promises and betrayed your goals just because the other side is bad.
You betray Americans. You put Americans last. You deserve to lose. You don’t deserve support.”
“Many Americans are learning to live without the system and don’t want anything to do with either party.
Homeschooling, farming, buying from local markets, and living off the land are how many of us will survive after the two-party madness. We’ve turned a corner and the system needs to be destroyed.”
Earlier this year, Greene criticized Trump for launching attacks on Iran.
“Thousands and thousands of Americans from my generation have been killed and hurt in never-ending, pointless wars, and we said we wanted no more,” she wrote on X. “But we are helping the Iranian people.
Please.
“There are 93 million people in Iran; let them free themselves,” the congresswoman said.
“But Iran is close to getting nuclear weapons. Yeah, sure.
“It’s always a lie, and it’s always America Last,” she said.
“But this time, it feels like the worst betrayal because it comes from the man and the administration we all thought was different and said no more.”
