Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) issued a sharply worded warning on Sunday, arguing that a U.S. military escalation in Iran could trigger major political consequences at home and deepen divisions within Donald Trump’s political coalition.
“If you send in U.S. military troops into Iran, there is going to be a political revolution in America,” Greene wrote on X.
“We. Are. Done,” she added. “We said no more foreign wars, and we meant it. The coalition will unite and be unstoppable. I’ll make sure of it.”

WE. ARE. DONE.
We said no more foreign wars and we meant it.
The coalition will unite and be unstoppable. I’ll make sure of it.
End this war. It’s stupid.
Greene, once a close Trump ally who has increasingly broken with him over foreign policy and other issues, including the handling of Jeffrey Epstein-related documents, framed her message as a warning against further military engagement abroad.
“End this war. It’s stupid,” she wrote.
Her comments came as Trump issued new warnings to Iran, saying on Truth Social that “the clock is ticking” for negotiations amid a fragile ceasefire tied to “Operation Epic Fury,” which he launched earlier this year.
“For Iran, the clock is ticking, and they better get moving fast, or there won’t be anything left of them. Time is of the essence,” Trump wrote.
The exchange highlights growing tensions within parts of Trump’s political base over continued U.S. involvement in foreign conflicts, with Greene positioning herself in direct opposition to further military escalation.
