Marjorie Taylor Greene recently shared something surprising about President Donald Trump. She talked about how he responded when she and her family got death threats. She used to be a big supporter of Trump and the MAGA movement, but later began criticizing him on various issues, like the war in Iran and the Epstein case. She also left Congress last year after a serious disagreement with Trump.
During a speech at The Ron Paul Institute in Clute, Texas, Greene said that Trump’s public attacks led to threats against her and her family.
She told the audience that she brought this up with Trump, but he didn’t show any sympathy.
She claimed that Trump told her it was her fault and that she deserved the threats.
He even said if her son was killed, she would deserve it because she was a traitor to him. She also said that if she ever released the texts Trump sent her, she might end up in jail.
A White House spokesperson, Davis Ingle, responded to her claims.
He called Greene a “quitter” who is trying to stay relevant by criticizing Trump. He also said that Trump Derangement Syndrome has affected her judgment, calling her brain “peanut-sized.”
Earlier, Trump addressed Greene’s claims about death threats during a media appearance before boarding Air Force One.
A reporter asked him if her life was in danger because of the rhetoric, and he responded, “Her life is in danger? Who’s that?”
Trump called Greene a “traitor” and said he doesn’t think she’s in danger because people don’t care about her.
He repeated the “traitor” label in a recent announcement where he congratulated Clay Fuller, her replacement, and referred to her as a “deranged predecessor.”
