Hillary, the one who had the right outlook about Trump from the beginning, gave a strong critique of the MAGA leader on Morning Joe today. She said that Americans — including millions who voted for Trump — are no longer accepting his statements when they don’t match what is happening in their own lives.
Clinton expressed confidence that Democrats will win the House in November and is becoming more confident about the Senate.
She explained that even those who gave Trump another chance after his first term didn’t support what is happening now.
Clinton said, “I think a lot of voters are saying, ‘I don’t believe this anymore.’” The discussion turned to whether Americans can still trust what they are being told, especially after 9/11 and the importance of officials being honest about dangers to health.
Clinton then brought the conversation to Trump and his repeated false claims about 9/11.
She said, “This president is the Olympic champion of lying. He lies about everything. He lies just for the sake of lying.” Clinton warned that Trump’s dishonesty has real consequences, especially when it affects people’s health, their money, and the safety of our military and people in the Middle East.
She said, “When [his] lying puts people’s lives at risk or makes life so much harder, that is something the American people should not tolerate.”
These comments came the day after Trump used the Republican midterm convention in Dallas to defend his administration’s record and the war with Iran, while urging Republicans to vote in November as if he were still in office.
Trump also promised a $5,000 “Trump dividend” if Republicans keep control of Congress, without giving any details on how that money would be paid or approved.
Until the election, Clinton’s predictions will remain just that — predictions.
But her argument was clear: no matter what politicians say, voters will compare their own experiences with real life — prices, war, government — and make their decision based on that.

Hilary is correct. Trump doesn’t lie when he sleeps. but when he’s awake. he does.
