Jimmy Fallon made fun of Melania Trump for staying out of the public eye for 29 days, RadarOnline.com reports.
Melania, who is 56 years old, hasn’t been seen in public since the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, where she was with her husband, Donald Trump.
On August 17, Fallon started his Tonight Show monologue by joking about Melania.
He said, “Over the weekend, President Trump made a campaign stop in Long Island, and Melania Trump didn’t go with him.”
He added, “People have noticed she’s been staying away.
In fact, she hasn’t been seen in public for 29 days.Trump heard about it and said, ‘Big deal.I haven’t seen her in private for two years.'”
Fallon mentioned that Melania is taking a break because of everything that’s happening.
He also joked about how the president had to use an airport catering truck to sneak away from Air Force One after a NATO meeting in Turkey on July 8.
He said, “She’s worried that at any moment she could be stuck with Trump inside her catering truck.”
