Donald Trump has faced strong criticism after a series of confusing social media posts last Friday. In these posts, he suggested that the 2020 election he lost should be “wiped” from history. He also shared several posts about Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, claiming they “committed treason.” One of these posts, originally from an account called Gunther Eaglemen, said: “We must, absolutely must, hold every one of these criminals accountable for the crimes that they committed.”
These posts included false ideas that Obama and Clinton were part of a plan to “overthrow the United States Government” in 2016.
Trump shared around 16 of these posts over several hours during the early morning. His unpredictable posts have already caused reactions from Democratic leaders. One suggested that Trump should be placed “into an insane asylum.” This comes after a photo showed Trump grabbing Melania’s butt.
A political analyst named Harry Sisson posted on X after Trump’s latest posts: “It’s 1 am in the morning, and Trump is awake ranting incoherently.”
He added: “He’s now calling for the 2020 election to be ‘permanently wiped from the books and be of no further force or effect.’ Someone check him into an insane asylum.”
Another person said: “Trump’s a madman.
A madman who hates losing. He lost 2020 and can’t get over it.”
He also mentioned a recent announcement by U.S. officials about fraud charges against the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a group that tracks extremist organizations.
An acting attorney general said the SPLC secretly funded groups it publicly condemns, including the KKK.
Harry Sisson posted again on X: “Trump had another mental health episode and spiraled out of control on social media last night.”
He documented all of the posts with corresponding times.
He added: “This man is not well.
He is a demented lunatic who is spiraling out of control. He must be impeached and removed from office.”
Many users on X shared their thoughts in the comments.
One wrote: “Here’s the problem. He might be a deranged psycho who needs to be removed now, but he’s correct about 2020 being rigged. You’re not understanding that both sides are just as bad.”
Another user said: “Trump’s not well that’s funny for four years you said nothing about Biden, but yet you go on here each and every day complaining about President Donald Trump dude I sure hope you are saving some of the money the left is paying you Cause you will certainly need it.
“
A third user commented: “Monitoring an 80-year old president’s overnight activity while calling it a ‘mental health episode’ is peak partisan cope.
Trump has posted like this for a decade high energy direct communication. Meanwhile the last guy needed a week to recover from a bike ride and you said nothing. Touch grass Harry.”
The SPLC’s president defended the organization, saying they would “vigorously defend ourselves, our staff, and our work.
“
In response to these new claims, Trump stated that the 2020 election should be “permanently wiped” if the accusations are accurate.
He posted on Truth Social: “The Southern Poverty Law Center, one of the greatest political scams in American History, has been charged with FRAUD.”
“This is another Democrat Hoax, along with Act Blue, and many others.
If it is true, the 2020 Presidential Election should be permanently wiped from the books and be of no further force or effect! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DJT,” he added.
Another post mentioned that Elon Musk and Charlie Kirk had been raising concerns about the SPLC “for years.”
Trump has repeatedly claimed that the 2020 election was stolen after he lost to Joe Biden.
No real evidence supports this. Even before he entered politics, he often challenged results that didn’t go his way. In 2012, after his show The Apprentice didn’t win any awards, he posted on X: “The Emmys are all politics, that’s why, despite nominations, The Apprentice never won—despite it should have many times over.”
He also called Obama’s 2012 re-election “a total sham.”
