As a CNN political commentator, Scott Jennings is not a full-time employee or journalist for the network, a spokesperson for the network said to The Daily Beast.“His description of a personal conversation with Senator McConnell comes from his own experience and is not considered CNN reporting.”
During an appearance on CNN, Jennings said he had talked to his “old friend” McConnell for 20 minutes on the phone.
He was trying to stop the growing rumors that the senator is either brain dead or maybe even dead.
McConnell was hospitalized three weeks ago after suffering a cardiac arrest and receiving CPR at the scene.
Soon after he was admitted, his wife, Elaine Chao, traveled to China to meet with high-ranking CCP officials. Then, just today, it was found out that McConnell’s house in Washington, D.C., is being renovated with major changes to the floor.
Something is definitely happening, and his office is not giving a real explanation.
It would be easy for McConnell to show proof that he is still alive.
Even a photo of him weak in a hospital bed giving a thumbs up would be enough.Right now, his voters don’t know if their senator will ever come back to work.
CNN’s decision not to support Jennings’ account of talking to McConnell is very suspicious.
CNN is a big, well-funded news organization with lots of investigative reporters. If McConnell was alive and making calls, it should be easy for them to check it out.Instead, they are saying they don’t care about the claim that he’s okay.
Scott Jennings is a professional liar who spends most of his time defending Trump’s many crimes, abuses, and mistakes that seem like dementia.
Dishonesty comes naturally to him.He might be helping McConnell’s team hide the truth. If McConnell is indeed dead, Kentucky’s Democratic governor would appoint a replacement, followed by a special election.Or maybe Jennings, who isn’t a genius, talked to an AI that sounds like McConnell and believed it.
One thing is certain: We are not getting the full story.
