Haberman reported that Trump won’t be attending the 25th anniversary ceremony for 9/11 at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum in Manhattan because they refused his request to give a speech.
There’s no reason to doubt her reporting.She’s a serious, reliable journalist with a strong reputation.If she’s reporting this, it’s because she has solid sources.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump is a chronic liar who enjoys talking about himself.
Of course, he tried to make the 9/11 commemoration about him.But he also knows that Haberman’s reporting makes him look really bad, and he can’t afford more negative coverage with his approval ratings low and the midterms coming up soon.
As for his attack on Haberman, is anyone still surprised?
