At least six sailors on the USS Abraham Lincoln, which is stationed in the Middle East to support Trump’s illegal war against Iran, have jumped off the deck or tried to and were stopped.
The most recent incident happened on Monday.
The USS Abraham Lincoln has been at sea for 271 days and hasn’t been in a port for 38 weeks.
Conditions on the ship are really bad.No one has said when the deployment will end.
Multimedia producer Andrew Brown reported on his Instagram: “The showers are moldy.
They’re eating like gruel.There’s no deodorant.There’s no toothpaste.”
“My nephew has a friend on board, and I was getting updates last week when I was in the States.
They’re not talking about the mental health crisis.Six people have tried to jump off that ship.The most recent was last Monday.”
“You know, when you haven’t touched land in 38 weeks, over 200 days, things start to happen to you mentally.
Combine that with exhaustion and deadly mistakes start to happen.”
“So, this is how the Department of War, this is how Donald Trump treats our servicemen and women, whose lives are already being put in harm’s way for a stupid war that was supposed to be over in weeks.”
“We are further putting their lives at risk because of total incompetence and neglect.
It doesn’t make sense, it doesn’t make sense, and it defies basic human decency.”
Military Times has confirmed at least two of the incidents.
It really shows how little the Trump administration actually cares about the “warfighters” they praise in their propaganda.

Things like “mental health” and “need for real food” just don’t matter when there’s “freedom to be defended!”
When Democrats take back Congress this fall, these incidents need to be on the very long list of investigations against Trump administration officials.
