Prime Minister Sánchez has stepped up and become one of Trump’s strongest critics on the global stage. He has refused to join Trump’s aggressive war against Iran on his own, and he has made a strong moral argument to the rest of the world to do the same.
Recently, he criticized Trump during a speech to the Spanish parliament, saying, “Trump is someone who will set the world on fire and then blame the smoke.
He has been wrong for 18 days of war. I urge everyone to call him out!”
And indeed, Trump has set the world on fire.
A million people have had to leave their homes in Lebanon as his ally, Netanyahu, sends his forces to destroy everything south of the Litani River.
The global economy is struggling because of the huge increase in gas prices.
Iran is blocking the Strait of Hormuz, and oil facilities in every Gulf country are being attacked by drones and missiles.
All of this is because of Trump — and what does he do?
All he does is shout and complain about how the allies he constantly insults won’t help him. He also shouts “fake news” at anyone who tries to tell him the truth!
The world needs to stand up to Trump’s behavior and not take part in this disaster.
Thank you, Mr. Sánchez, for being one of the few European leaders who has shown some courage in standing up to Trump’s constant bullying!
