Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche told Fox News host Sean Hannity that if Donald Trump hadn’t won the 2024 election, he “absolutely” would have ended up in prison.
During an interview on Hannity’s podcast, Blanche discussed the many legal troubles Trump is facing.
Hannity mentioned that Trump was found guilty on 34 felony charges in New York City and asked, “So is it true to say he either wins in ’24, wins the White House — or he goes to prison?”

“Yes!
Oh yeah, absolutely,” Blanche replied.
He added, “Don’t forget, he had a case in D.C. looming over him, he had the Florida case — which had been dismissed but was under appeal — and he had a judge in New York who had no choice but to send President Trump to prison.
That didn’t happen because he won.”
Blanche went on to say, “The impact of 2024 for this country is huge.
But for him and his family, it’s also very significant.”
Hannity then asked if there was a Justice Department investigation into grand juries that were focused on Trump, to which Blanche confirmed there is.
“This is all being looked into, and it’s about whether there has been a pattern of behavior aimed at ruining this man — one man, one family, one organization,” Hannity stated.
“Is that fair?”
“Without a doubt,” Blanche answered.
He explained that the investigation needs to show there was a pattern of politically-driven legal actions against Trump, “but that’s not hard to prove.”
Blanche was on Hannity’s podcast just a week after the DOJ started looking into whether E. Jean Carroll lied under oath in her civil case against Trump for sexual assault.
Carroll stated in a 2022 deposition that she did not get help paying for her case, but Reid Hoffman, a co-founder of LinkedIn and a liberal supporter, said a year later that he helped fund it.
