Former President Barack Obama gave a strong, angry criticism of Donald Trump and Trump Jr.during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to diary entries released by Dr.Anthony Fauci. These diary pages, which are filled with spelling mistakes, were shared by Senator Rand Paul over the weekend. In one entry from November 2021, Fauci wrote about getting a call from Obama while facing unfair attacks from some far-right Republicans. These attacks included Trump Jr.selling T-shirts and sweatshirts with the slogan “Fauci Kills Puppies,” which was linked to a study that was said to involve beagle puppies.
Fauci wrote on page 914 of the released files that he told Obama about the far-right Republicans’ actions, including Trump Jr.
selling clothing items with the puppie slogan to raise money for his campaign.Obama responded with strong language, calling Trump Jr.”A f moron” and then said that Trump was a “hopeless idiot” and a “pathologic liar.” He apologized for using such strong language but continued with his criticism.
The “Fauci Kills Puppies” controversy came from a study published in a scientific journal that said some research funded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases included experiments on puppies.
The journal later corrected the paper in October 2021.
Fauci led the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases for many years, from 1984 to 2022.
He also told Obama that he was upset that some moderate Republicans weren’t standing up for him against false accusations.Obama said he would call back if he heard of any movement in that direction, and Fauci called the conversation “incredibly memorable.”
When asked for comment, a White House spokesperson called Obama “one of the most dishonest, divisive, and destructive Presidents in history.” The Obama office hasn’t responded yet.
Fauci’s diary, which covers 2019 to 2022, was found by Robert F.
Kennedy Jr., the son of former President Robert F.Kennedy, on government servers. It was then given to Senate Republicans. The release has led to discussions about Fauci’s role during the pandemic and his personal experiences.
In the diary, Fauci described his relationship with Trump as getting worse during the pandemic.
They worked closely at first as part of the White House team, but Fauci became frustrated with Trump’s public comments, which he found confusing and not always in line with public health advice.
In one entry from March 29, 2021, he called Trump an “obnoxious adolescent.”
After the diaries were released, Fauci, who had received a pardon from former President Joe Biden, testified before a Senate committee.
During the hearing, he used the Fifth Amendment 111 times and accused Senator Rand Paul of focusing on a criminal case against him.

Yes, President Obama hit the nail on its head. Obama is never wrong..
