A new picture of Senator Mitch McConnell from Kentucky was shared on Monday, as people continue to worry about his health.
McConnell first went to the hospital in June after he was found unconscious at his house.
Since then, there hasn’t been much information about his health, which led to a lot of guesswork online.Some people even suggested he had passed away and that his death was being hidden.
About a month after he was admitted to the hospital, his office shared a photo of him and his wife, Elaine Chao.
That image caused more questions, with some people claiming it was made by AI.But that idea was quickly rejected.
On Monday, McConnell’s office shared another photo of him with his wife.
The image showed him sitting up in a care center with his wife next to him.The photo, according to the Daily Mail, was dated July 26 and sent via email.His doctor also mentioned in the email that McConnell is still recovering from a fall at home in June.
Despite the new photo, many people are still worried about his condition.
A statement from the Office of the Attending Physician of the United States Congress said McConnell is “not yet medically cleared to leave the rehab facility and return to the office.”
