Hunter Biden is fed up with MAGA’s sudden anger over people raising questions about Donald Trump’s very close relationship with 35-year-old White House aide Natalie Harp.
He asked, “If this relationship with a 35-year-old was back in the Obama administration, what would they [Republicans] be doing right now?”
That’s a reasonable question because Trump’s allies have been attacking Senator Jon Ossoff all week for just mentioning that Trump travels with Harp.
People like Scott Jennings even called Ossoff’s comments “vile” and misogynistic.
Hunter pointed out that Harp’s deep devotion to Trump is clear through her intensely personal letters like “you are all that matters to me,” her staying on a cot at Trump’s club all summer to be close to him, and her constant presence wherever he goes.
These things have serious national security concerns.
He said, “It’s not just weird.
Who is this person—who’s right next to the nuclear football, next to the most powerful man in the world, with this level of access?”
He was also surprised that Harp has worked for around a year without even applying for a security clearance.
What MAGA calls salacious gossip has turned into a real question about who has access to the president and what information he gets or doesn’t get.
“So, the idea that we can’t question this, that they’re somehow offended by the idea that we should protect this 35-year-old individual’s privacy?
You know what?Go f*ck yourself.”
He added, “From a national security perspective, it’s not just weird to us.
It’s weird to everybody.”
He also brought up the standard Republicans used against Barack Obama and his father during their time in office.
“If I can’t question that, but they can … spend 15 years still talking about when Barack Obama wore a tan suit … these people are out of their minds.”
Whatever is or isn’t happening between Trump and Harp, Hunter’s main point is hard to argue with.
A 35-year-old, unelected aide has extraordinary access to the U.S.
president, and questioning that isn’t an attack on her.
