The Texas Senator sat down to discuss his college football bill with ESPN’s Rece Davis, and the students in Austin, Texas, were not happy.
“I have never seen anyone get booed so hard, by fans from all different groups, like Ted Cruz did on College Game Day,” wrote a Texas Longhorns fan named @cturnbull1968 on Twitter.
“It was booing nonstop from the beginning until the end.
The man is going to need therapy.”
Ted Cruz supports the bipartisan “Protect College Sports Act,” which aims to bring some control back to college football after the new “NIL” deals — which let college athletes get paid — opened the door for corruption in a once-beloved American tradition.
But Ted Cruz is a loyal follower of Donald Trump and the Epstein group, and the anger from the American people will stick with him wherever he goes.
