Trump wrote, “Pregnant women, DON’T USE TYLENOL UNLESS IT’S ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY, DON’T GIVE TYLENOL TO YOUR YOUNG CHILD FOR MOST REASONS, BREAK UP THE MMR VACCINE INTO THREE FULLY SEPARATE SHOTS (NOT MIXED!)
, TAKE THE CHICKENPOX SHOT ALONE, GET THE HEPATITIS B SHOT AT 12 OR OLDER, AND, MOST IMPORTANTLY, GET VACCINES OVER FIVE DIFFERENT MEDICAL VISITS! President DJT.”
On Monday, flanked by fake health officials from the MAGA group, including Kennedy, Trump made his “big announcement” about a supposed link between Tylenol use by pregnant women and autism in kids.
But he didn’t provide any new evidence to back up this old and disproven claim. Doctors don’t take this seriously at all.
There’s a lot of backlash, and even some Republicans are starting to worry about the MAGA administration’s growing anti-science behavior.
One GOP lawmaker told The Hill that they are “starting to break ranks” on this issue.
Senator Bill Cassidy, a doctor and the head of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, was stunned by Trump’s Tylenol statement.
He said, “HHS should release any new data that supports this claim.
The evidence shows this isn’t true. The real problem is that women will have no way to manage pain during pregnancy.”
It’s clear why Trump is attacking Tylenol.
His second term has been a complete failure. His crazy tariffs are hurting the global economy, groceries are too expensive, his harsh ICE policies are very unpopular, and his main law cut $1 trillion from Medicaid. He needs a distraction, and using RFK’s crazy ideas is a good way to appeal to his base of ignorant, anti-science followers.
To be honest, no one should be getting health advice from Donald Trump.
This is a man who thinks the body is like a “battery” and that exercise is bad because it uses up your “limited energy.” Just look at him. Do you think he looks healthy?
