Jimmy Kimmel is saying that Melania Trump is not being honest when she says she never had any connection with Jeffrey Epstein. On April 9, Melania gave a sudden public speech at the White House, which surprised her husband, Donald, and other White House people. She said, “I have never been friends with Epstein.”
” I have never had any knowledge of Epstein’s abuse of his victims,” she told the press.
“I was never involved in any way—I wasn’t a participant, never rode on Epstein’s plane, and never went to his private island. I have never been friends with Epstein. Donald and I were sometimes at the same parties as Epstein because it’s common for people in New York City and Palm Beach to overlap in social circles.”
She later said, “A lot of fake pictures and statements about Epstein and me have been around on social media for years.
Be careful about what you believe. These images and stories are completely false.”
But Kimmel isn’t buying it.
During his April 9 show on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” he showed a well-known photo of Donald and Melania with Epstein and said, “By the way, while you’re explaining how little you knew about Epstein, can you think of any reason he would have a picture of you two on display at his house? Maybe this is the photo that came with the frame, I don’t know.”
“I, for one, when I see this, I think, well, these two don’t know each other at all,” Kimmel joked.
Donald Trump told MS Now that he didn’t know Melania was going to make that statement beforehand.
He also said, “She didn’t know [Epstein].”
“He didn’t know she was going to do it before she did it, which shows you just how smoothly things are running over there,” Kimmel said.
“She must really hate him. I don’t know how else to explain it.”
Although Kimmel often criticizes Donald Trump on his show, he has been targeting Melania more lately.
The release of the Amazon documentary “Melania” in January made Kimmel even angrier. He called it a “$75 million bribe” that “Amazon made for her” and later said it was “a documentary that’s dreadfully dull. The whole thing is Melania going to fittings, riding in a car, trying on clothes, and interviewing people to work for her.”
