A doctor has claimed that Donald Trump is showing “all the signs of dementia” and has given a serious warning about his health. Dr. Vin Gupta, a senior medical expert for MS NOW, expressed major worries about Trump’s thinking abilities on Sunday. He listed five worrying symptoms he has noticed in the 79-year-old president, including being unpredictable, struggling to finish sentences, getting confused, thinking in a way that doesn’t make sense, and having trouble finding the right words.
He warned that Trump’s mental abilities seem to be getting worse over time.
“Developing and worsening gradually,” he said. “The President is showing all the signs of dementia,” he said.
This came after Trump caused a lot of worry with a strange post on his social media platform called Truth Social on Sunday.
He wrote, “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!!” He continued, “Open the F—in’ Strait, you crazy b——-, or you’ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH!” He also said, “Praise be to Allah,” before signing off with his name.
Trump’s strange behavior happened after he had been away from public view for several days, which made people more worried about his health.
The White House responded strongly to the rumors that Trump had been in the hospital. They said, “Deranged liberals cook up insane conspiracy theories when @POTUS goes 12 hours without speaking to press. (They said nothing when Biden routinely went 12 days without speaking to press) Fear not! President Trump literally never stops working,” they wrote on X.
They also responded to someone who said Trump was at the Walter Reed Medical Center.
They said, “No, you’re just a weapons-grade moron.”
This wasn’t the first time Dr. Gupta had raised concerns about Trump’s health.
In January, he warned that Trump’s cognitive abilities were declining and getting worse. That came after Trump caused a big stir at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, where he mixed up Greenland with Iceland, had trouble walking straight on the red carpet after getting off a helicopter, and showed a serious hand injury.
Dr. Gupta, who is a real doctor in public health, told MeidasTouch that he hopes the president is getting proper medical care.
He said, “He’s the president of the United States, so let’s hope, beyond the headlines, that he is getting the care that he needs.”
He pointed out that Trump has a family history of age-related dementia and that he shows some similarities to his father, Fred Trump Sr., who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in his 80s.
“We’re seeing the same kind of patterns we first noticed a few months ago. There’s a symmetry between some of these earlier signs in his case and what his father went through,” Dr. Gupta explained.
When asked if Trump is showing signs of early Alzheimer’s, Dr. Gupta said that “a lot of the symptoms” he pointed out are “consistent with those diagnoses.”
He added, “Frontotemporal Dementia, you know, the acting out, behavior changes, lashing out, acting unreasonable.
One could say this is his core fundamental personality based on what we’ve seen over, frankly, his entire adult life, but it’s getting worse.”

Not just Trump’s father Fred, but also his sister and cousin – it runs in the family.
Donald’s sister, Maryanne Trump Barry, and his cousin, John Walters, showed signs of dementia, according to nephew Fred Trump III.
