Donald Trump recently criticized European nations that are having trouble getting enough jet fuel because of the conflict in the Strait of Hormuz, which he started in an illegal war against Iran. He specifically mentioned the UK for not supporting his plan to attack Iran, which he called a “decapitation” strategy.
Trump wrote, “All the countries that can’t get jet fuel because of the Strait of Hormuz, like the United Kingdom, I have a suggestion for you: First, buy from the U.S., we have plenty.
Second, build up some delayed courage and go to the Strait and just TAKE IT.”
“You’ll have to start learning how to fight for yourself,” he added. “
The U.S.A. won’t be there to help you anymore, just like you weren’t there for us.”
He then falsely claimed that Iran has been “essentially decimated” and that “the hard part is done,” telling his allies to “go get your own oil!
“
This is Trump at his worst: starting an illegal war he didn’t believe would block the Strait of Hormuz and causing a global energy crisis, then blaming his allies for not cleaning up his mess while trying to profit from their desperation by selling them American jet fuel.
