Donald Trump’s main immigration advisor seemed to sigh as the president explained his reasons for fighting Iran during a Monday afternoon meeting.
A video from WSMV 4 Nashville showed Miller looking away and sighing right as Trump talked about how Iran’s missile power was increasing so quickly that the U.S. had to act before it became almost impossible to stop.
Miller, who is 40, then composed himself and turned back to face the president, who was at the center of the event in Memphis, Tennessee.
A video of Miller’s possible unhappy reaction has become popular on social media.

When asked for a comment, White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson said: “The interns at the Daily Beast who have been sniffing glue have finally sniffed too much and are now spending their time weirdly watching videos of Stephen breathing.
This is strange, even for the Daily Beast, who often puts out piles of trash and calls it writing.”
Jackson, 29, has never worked outside of Republican politics.
She is outspoken about her Christian beliefs, even though she had a public, non-religious wedding covered in Politico. She has also posted offensive messages toward journalists using the F-word. Under her maiden name, Marone, she worked as a student “correspondent” for the conservative website Campus Reform.
A lot of Trump’s supporters are divided over his war with Iran, which has already cost the lives of 13 American soldiers.
A CBS News/YouGov survey from last week found that two-thirds of Americans see the war as a choice, not a necessity, as Trump claims.
Publicly, Miller has supported the president’s attacks on Iran and said they were meant to stop an Iranian attack on American troops in the area.
However, Miller has long opposed U.S. military action in the Middle East, even going so far as to promise voters peace as he campaigned for Trump and Vice President JD Vance in 2024.
Miller posted days before the 2024 election, “To anyone still gullible enough to fall for scummy media hoaxes: Trump said warmongering neocons love sending your kids to die for wars they would never fight themselves.
Liz Cheney is Kamala’s top advisor. Liz wants to invade the whole Middle East. Kamala = WWIII. Trump = Peace.”
He wrote something similar a week and a half earlier, saying, “KAMALA WILL SEND YOUR SONS TO WAR.”
In reality, Trump is doing exactly that.
Top military leaders have made detailed plans to send ground troops into Iran, including elite units like the 82nd Airborne Division, according to CBS News.
Even though much attention has been on Miller’s sigh on Monday, he used his time at the roundtable to praise his boss, as usual.
Miller said that Trump has built the “greatest national security and public safety team in American history,” and he went on to praise Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, FBI Director Kash Patel, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and others.
“What President Trump put together has never been matched in history; that’s how you get things done,” Miller continued.
“He chooses people based on their skill, their competence, their ability, their determination, their dedication, and their loyalty, and you’re seeing the results.”
