Iran’s leaders are not in a better situation. They are desperate and hiding, acting like rats. That’s what Hegseth, a war criminal, said, using harsh and insulting language. “We know the new so-called leader is hurt and probably has a bad injury. He made a statement yesterday, but it was weak. There was no voice and no video. It was just a written message,” Hegseth said.
Hegseth’s comments should make every American with a conscience feel sick.
Trump started this illegal war on behalf of Israel, beginning it with the killing of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei—someone who was not just a political leader, but a holy figure to Shia Muslims. His murder was a serious violation of international rules and an act of terrorism that led to many innocent Iranian deaths. Even if you don’t support Khamenei’s religious government, killing him was a terrible crime that has only made Iran’s hardliners stronger.
Despite the assassination, Iran’s current leaders are not hiding in fear as Hegseth claimed.
The country is coming together behind them, even though the government is unpopular in some areas. When given a choice between supporting a government they don’t agree with or the American and Israeli governments bombing them, they’re clearly choosing their own people.
Larijani, who is the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, posted videos on X showing the country’s leaders walking in the streets during the day.
But it was the comment he made alongside them that really made an impact—
“Mr. Hegseth!
Our leaders have been, and still are, among the people. But your leaders? On Epstein’s island!” Larijani wrote.
This is what the world thinks of America now.
No one believes this war was fought to protect the people of the United States or bring freedom to Iran. It was a war that was started by a man who is a rapist and possibly a child molester, who is happy to kill people abroad if it keeps his problems at home from being noticed.
