Governor Tim Walz SHUTS DOWN Republican Nancy Mace after she tries to play gotcha games with him in a volatile committee hearing!
Republicans brought Minnesota’s Democratic leaders before the Oversight Committee this morning to create content for their social media and spread false ideas about fraud.
But it didn’t go as they planned.
During one exchange, Rep. Nancy Mace asked Walz if he had learned anything since their last hearing.
“I learned that if I didn’t speak up, two of my people would be dead, Congresswoman,” Walz replied.
“Okay, Governor Walz, uh, what is a woman?
Have you learned that lesson? Do you know what a woman is?” Mace smirked, happy to bring up transgender issues in a weird way.
Walz, clearly frustrated, replied, “I am the governor of Minnesota, I’m not here to be your prop for your obsession!”
This shows how seriously Republicans don’t take their role.
Here we are seeing a person with harmful views waste public time and money to push her own agenda against a group that is already struggling.
Good on Governor Walz for refusing to play along with her nonsense.
