Donald Trump’s AI images keep coming. Last week, he posted a fake infomercial-style public service announcement on social media. The video had “Dr.Trump” talking about a cure for TDS, which he said was to avoid fake news, say your prayers, and drink a Diet Coke. The video used deepfake images of famous actors like Rosie O’Donnell, John Leguizamo, Whoopi Goldberg, Edward Norton, Robert De Niro, and Julia Roberts.
Now, Trump is back with another fake photo.
This time, it’s a picture of former President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle Obama, leaving a plane covered in graffiti. The image is clearly altered. It shows the Obamas smiling for the press, along with the slogan “Yes We Can” and the word “BLM” painted on the plane. There’s also Arabic text that means “praise be to God” or “thank God” on the plane’s side.
The picture also has some not-so-subtle racist elements.
It also mocks the real Air Force One. Trump’s new jet, which is retrofitted and fancy, has a navy, red, and gold color scheme. It doesn’t have the traditional light blue color that the real Air Force One does. The fake version in Trump’s post is painted in light blue, just like the real one.
What’s the reaction to Trump’s new post on Truth Social?
It’s clear that these posts are meant to get attention. This one immediately caused a strong reaction.
One Reddit user said, “It’s been all these years, and Obama still lives rent-free in his head.” Another said, “He can’t stop thinking about how much better the Obamas are than him at everything.”
Others joked, “He just has Obama derangement syndrome,” and “Great role model for kids, right?”
The backlash continued.
Commenters said, “He cares more about attacking Obama than helping the American people,” and “Is he having these made, or is he tweeting out ones he sees? I’m not sure which would be worse. Probably both simultaneously.”
This isn’t the first time Trump has made a fake post about Obama that caused a big reaction.
In February, he shared a video showing the Obamas as cartoon apes. The video was taken down after critics, including some Republicans, called it “unacceptable.”
