A new report in the Washington Post says that officials chosen by Trump for the Kennedy Center board claim the center is almost out of money.They say putting Trump’s name on the building’s front might be the only way to stop it from going bankrupt soon.
In short, if Trump doesn’t get his name on the Kennedy Center, the place might not survive.
Lawyers for Rep.
Joyce Beatty, who is a member of the Kennedy Center and has sued to stop Trump from renaming it, criticized Trump and his supporters for trying to force their way into changing the name.
“This constant attempt to put Donald Trump’s name on the Kennedy Center is crazy,” said lawyers Norm Eisen and Nathaniel Zelinsky in a statement.
“This is the third time someone has tried to ruin this important memorial and turn it into a personal project for one man’s ego.”
They added, “Even worse, Trump is holding the Center hostage and threatening to kill it unless he gets his way.
This has to stop.”
Every day seems to bring a new low for Donald Trump, who shows a level of meanness that is simply unbelievable.
He will do anything to get his name on things, and he especially wants the Kennedy Center because he knows no one would ever build something to honor him.
He is constantly jealous of the grace, fame, and praise that the Kennedys have, so he’s trying to take it from them by force, knowing he will never earn it honestly.
