Donald Trump once again tried to make a big celebrity’s death all about himself and take the focus away from the beloved music star Dolly Parton.He told Glenn Beck, a hateful bigot, that Dolly “really liked him” in a confusing and crazy way.
He said: “We all knew her so well.
I knew her a little. She wasn’t very political. She really liked me, I can tell you, but she also wanted to stay out of politics. She thought that maybe 50% of people need to lose, but I don’t think it’s 50%. I think it’s probably just 20% of her fans. Not 50, but she was a great person, a nice person.”
This is really ridiculous.
Dolly Parton was too smart and kind a person to ever support someone as bad as Donald Trump.
If we want to know how she felt about him, we just need to look at the 2017 movie *9 to 5*, where her co-stars clearly criticized Trump as a “sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot” in a speech.
This is a new low for a man who keeps redefining what it means to be pathetic every day.
He should be ashamed for putting words in the mouth of someone as important as Dolly Parton just to feel better about the fact that everyone hates him.
