“You clearly won’t tell us the Cabinet members associated with Mr. Epstein but let me ask you one last question,” said Senator Adam Schiff. “And that is, right after [Ghislaine Maxwell] gives this testimony in front of an FBI agent among others, she’s transferred to a minimum security prison not suitable for a sex offender like herself.”
In July, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche met with Epstein’s imprisoned right-hand woman Ghislaine Maxwell for six hours at a U.S. Attorney’s office in Florida. It happened as calls were growing for Maxwell to testify in front of Congress. Not long after the meeting, Maxwell was moved to a cushy minimum-security facility in Texas. Blanche was formerly Trump’s personal lawyer, leading some to suspect that he was entrusted with hammering out a secret hush deal with Maxwell to avoid her telling the truth about Trump.
“Who made that decision and why?” asked Schiff about the move to Texas.
“The Bureau of Prisons,” Patel said into his microphone, so loud that it was difficult to understand his words.
“The Bureau of Decisions made—” said Schiff.
“PRISONS!” Patel exploded into the mic so aggressively that it distorted the sound.
“The Bureau of Prisons decided on their own without any consultation from Blanche or anyone else that they were going to suddenly after this interview, completely unrelated to this interview, completely unrelated to anything she said, move her to a prison not suitable for a sex offender?” said Schiff. “You want the American people to believe that!? Do you think they’re stupid?”
“NO! I think the American people believe the truth, that I’m not in the weeds on the everyday movements of—” said Patel.
“Oh you’re not in the weeds?” said Schiff. “The most significant witness in the Epstein coverup—”
“WHAT I AM DOING IS PROTECTING THIS COUNTRY,” said Patel, again blowing out his microphone. “PROVIDING HISTORIC REFORMS AND COMBATTING THE WEAPONIZATION OF INTELLIGENCE BY THE LIKES OF YOU AND WE HAVE COUNTLESSLY PROVEN YOU TO BE A LIAR IN RUSSIAGATE IN JANUARY 6TH. YOU ARE THE BIGGEST FRAUD TO EVER SIT IN THE UNITED STATES SENATE. YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO THIS INSTITUTION AND AN UTTER COWARD.”
“This stinks to high heaven,” said Schiff, keeping his cool. “I’m not surprised—”
“I’m not surprised that you continue to lie from your perch and put on a show so you can go and raise money for your charade,” said a furious Patel. “You are a political buffoon at best.”
“Well you can take—” said Schiff. “TAKE IT TO THE BANK THAT THE FBI IS PROTECTING THIS COUNTRY AND THE STATE AND CITIZENS OF THE CALIFORNIA,” Patel said, again popping his mic’s levels.
“Well you can make an internet troll the FBI Director but he will always be nothing more than an internet troll,” said Schiff.
“WE ARE BRINGING HISTORIC REFORM! HISTORIC!” screeched Patel. “BUT ALL YOU CARE ABOUT IS A CHILD SEX PREDATOR THAT WAS PROSECUTED BY A PRIOR ADMINISTRATION AND THE OBAMA JUSTICE DEPARTMENT AND THE BIDEN JUSTICE DEPARTMENT DID SQUAT!”
“AND WHAT DID PRESIDENT TRUMP DO? BRING NEW CHARGES COURAGEOUSLY” Patel raged on, clearly showing off in case Trump was watching from home.
“AND WHAT HAVE WE DONE? YOU SAID SAID I’M THE ‘MOST TRANSPARENT’ FBI DIRECTOR IN HISTORY? THIRTY THREE THOUSAND PAGES OF INFORMATION TO YOU. I CHALLENGE YOU TO SAY ANYTHING CREDIBLY TO THE TRUTH. GO AHEAD AND RUN TO THE CAMERAS WHERE YOU WANT TO GO NOW!”
At that point, the chairman hammered his gavel and Patel quieted down. It wasn’t the only time during his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee that Patel was confronted about the FBI’s handling of the Epstein scandal.
“You’ve seen most of the files, who if anyone did Epstein traffic these young women to besides himself?” asked Republican Senator John Kennedy.
“Himself. There is no credible information. None. If there were I would bring the case yesterday that he trafficked to other individuals,” claimed Patel. “And the information we have, again, is limited.” “So the answer is no one?” asked Kennedy.
“For the information that we have,” said Patel. In reality, numerous Epstein victims have stated that the billionaire pedophile trafficked them to other men for abuse. Patel is blatantly lying to the American people, the obvious question is why?
The equally obvious answer is that he’s covering for his boss’s horrific crimes. It’s time to appoint a special counsel to investigate the Epstein scandal and release the files in full.
