Well, that really explains a lot. NBC News has found out that every day, Trump is shown a war video montage of “things blowing up” that “shows footage of the biggest and most successful attacks on Iranian targets from the past 48 hours.”
The officials said that these videos are “causing worry among some of Trump’s allies, who are concerned that he may not be getting — or understanding — the full picture of the war, which has been going on for four weeks now.”
They also note that the videos are making Trump angrier at the media because he doesn’t seem to realize that watching explosions over and over again doesn’t mean the war is going well overall.
Any person who has studied American wars from the past 60 years would know that.
For example, Trump wasn’t told about the Iranian missile attack on U.S. refueling planes in Saudi Arabia.
He found out about it only after seeing it in the news.
One of the officials said, “Among their concerns is that Trump may not be ready to make important decisions about the next steps in the war if he’s not getting a full picture of what’s happening.”
It seems like the American people aren’t the only ones being misled by Pete Hegseth’s Pentagon.
This is a very concerning discovery, especially since we know Trump is thinking about sending troops to invade Iran, based on the idea that things are going well.
During the Vietnam War, President Johnson started each day with a report on how many American soldiers were injured or killed.
Now, Trump starts each day with a selected highlight reel meant to make him feel good.
The lives of our troops are at risk, and the President doesn’t even know what’s really happening.
