A man who said he is a registered Republican, a three-time voter for Donald Trump from New Mexico, and the son of a hardworking man who “just did it naturally” broke down on C-SPAN while speaking with Greta Brawner. He gave an emotional, heartfelt apology for supporting Donald Trump.
The caller, who called himself John, said: “I voted for the president, supported him, but I really want to apologize.
I mean, I’m looking at this awful picture of the Obamas. What a disgrace to our country. All this man does is tell lies. He’s not worthy of being president. He takes bribes right out in the open, and now he’s being a racist. That’s blatant.”
“He was supposed to deport the dangerous criminals.
He wasn’t supposed to go after small kids, attack schools, and bring fear to the little children and women. … All the kids are scared. This is not a decent man. This is not an honest man. He openly takes bribes. He’s a pathetic president, and I just want to apologize to everyone in the country for supporting this rotten, rotten man.”
When Brawner asked if he voted for Trump in all three elections, he said yes. “
I did. I was fooled by the idea of creating jobs, but there are no more jobs in New Mexico. Things are worse than before. You can’t even find a primary care doctor.”
This is a real moment of deep reflection from within the MAGA base.
A working-class New Mexican who once fully believed in Trump is now publicly rejecting him, calling him a liar, bribe-taker, racist, and a failure. The promise of economic growth? Broken. The claim that only dangerous criminals should be deported? Exposed as a lie, with ICE causing fear in schools and harming children. The image of an honest outsider? Gone.
When even three-time Trump supporters are publicly apologizing and admitting they were “taken in by the stupidity,” it shows the truth is coming out.
The illusion is gone. The group is breaking from the inside.

Then “John” needs to actively join the peaceful protest in some meaningful fashion.
