The Wall Street Journal says Trump is planning to use American soldiers to take 1,000 pounds of uranium from Iran’s nuclear sites. That’s a really bad and dangerous idea that shows a lot of poor judgment.
Dear God.
This war is being handled by people who don’t seem to understand what they’re doing, and their decisions are just as cruel as they are foolish.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Trump and his team think it might be possible to send US troops into central Iran, create a safe area around a nuclear site, load the uranium onto special trucks, and then get it out of the country safely.
But that’s not going to happen.
The report says engineers would need special tools, which would have to be brought in under attack.
They’d also need to set up a perimeter around the site and build a temporary airfield, all while facing heavy resistance.
This is total nonsense.
It would put our soldiers in a deadly situation, facing Iranian missiles, drones, and experienced Iranian military forces who have fought in the Syrian Civil War.
It’s frightening that this idea is even being thought about.
It shows just how far out of touch the Trump administration is and how little they care about the safety of our troops.
