In a rude and disrespectful Easter message to Iran, Donald Trump appears determined to destroy Iran’s civilian buildings and called next Tuesday “Power Plant Day,” suggesting he’s ready to ignore the usual rules of war.
“Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all in one, in Iran.
There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH!” Trump wrote.
What a moving message to share on the most sacred day of the Christian year.
Feeling more confident after last night’s dramatic rescue of a downed American pilot, Trump ended the threat with a strange and deeply disrespectful religious comment that’s likely offensive to Muslims given the context: “Praise be to Allah.”
This happens as Trump’s illegal war is getting worse, American soldiers are in danger, gas prices are rising at home, and the world is stunned as the U.S. president sounds more like a playground bully with nuclear weapons than a responsible leader.
While families deal with the economic impact of his careless war, Trump is openly imagining turning Tuesday into a day of destruction for Iran’s infrastructure.
Why?
Because he’s stuck in a corner by the war he started but can’t finish. He can’t deal with the consequences of starting a war he can’t end.
Trump’s crazy “Power Plant Day” threat and his disrespectful “Praise be to Allah” comment while American troops are in danger is almost a national security crisis.
