“The UAW will make sure our member gets all the protection from the contract that keeps his job and his rights as a union member.
Workers should never have to deal with rude or offensive language or behavior from anyone — including the President of the United States,” they added.
The UAW is one of America’s most respected unions, with over 391,000 active members and over 580,000 retired members.
TJ Sabula, a 40-year-old line worker, was fired after a video of Trump flipping him the middle finger and shouting “f*ck you” became popular.
Sabula had called Trump a “pedophile protector.” The White House said the firing was “appropriate” and called Sabula a “lunatic” having a “complete fit of rage.” But as anyone who saw the video can tell, the only one acting crazy was Trump, who was clearly very angry.
This is the same administration that claims to care about free speech.
Yet, as we’ve seen over and over, that freedom only applies to MAGA supporters. Anyone else who speaks out against this group can be targeted.
“Definitely no regrets about calling him out,” Sabula told the Post.
He explained that his joke — which was both funny and true — was based on how Trump handled the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. The fact that it so upset Trump shows how deep the Epstein fallout has affected him. Trump knows that his real legacy will be linked to pedophilia.
“I don’t feel like fate often looks at you, and when it does, you better be ready to take the chance.
And today, I think I did that,” Sabula said. He said he identifies as an Independent and has even supported other Republicans in the past.
Support for Sabula has been huge since he was fired, with his GoFundMe page already reaching over $357,941.
In the years to come, people will look back in shock at how this story perfectly represents the MAGA era: the president of the United States, a corrupt rich person, flipping the middle finger at a working-class man.
