The attorney general’s crazy showmanship has gone very wrong.
When a reporter asked Congresswoman Mace about Attorney General Bondi’s performance at a recent hearing, she replied,
“When she was asked tough questions, she talked about the stock market and how high the Dow was going,” Mace said.
“That’s really shameful.”
The Dow moment was one of the biggest mistakes Bondi made during the hearing, and it’s already led to a lot of jokes online.
Bondi got angry at Congressman Jamie Raskin, saying, “The Dow is over 50,000 right now,” and insisted they should be talking about that instead of Epstein. She didn’t convince anyone.
Mace then pointed out another disturbing thing from the hearing—
“I saw photos of something in the Judiciary Committee.
I wasn’t there because I’m not on that committee, but in the Judiciary Committee she had her folder open, and there was an image of a member of Congress’s search history in the software database,” Mace said.
“Why is the DOJ, why is the attorney general, carrying around a folder of search histories from members of Congress who just want the truth?
She needs to answer for that,” Mace continued. “She should answer for that. And I think she should come before the Oversight Committee because I have a lot of tough questions for her.”
Many members of Congress are also asking for an explanation about this issue.
It seems the DOJ, for some reason, is tracking the specific searches that lawmakers are doing in the Epstein files. The most obvious reason is that they want to prevent any information from coming out that could hurt the administration. This is yet another sign that they care nothing about transparency and are trying to hide the truth.
Even though Mace is one of the most extreme members of Congress with terrible politics, she’s spot on about the attorney general.
Pam Bondi’s testimony on Epstein was a disgrace to the American people. She avoided answering basic questions and spent a lot of time talking about Trump’s made-up successes and mocking Democrats. She needs to be called back to testify under oath. Keep pressing her on Epstein until she finally admits the truth.
