The former Transportation Secretary criticized the President and his team for their big mistakes, careless choices, and the terrible thing of trying to get money from the soldiers who died in Trump’s Operation Epstein Fury.
On CNN with Jake Tapper, Buttigieg said, “In the past, Iran’s nuclear program was controlled without any fighting.
President Trump thought he could get a better deal than Obama did. He didn’t get that deal, and then he started a war without planning, without even being ready for some basic things.”
“He definitely knew the military would have told him the Strait of Hormuz might close, that it was a possible outcome.
But they’re acting like they didn’t think that would happen.”
“Secretary Hegseth said the Strait of Hormuz is open, except for shooting at vehicles passing through.
This is clearly a mess at the Pentagon and in the White House, and again, the cost is being paid by all of us.”
“You can tell from the administration’s attitude toward this war that they’re treating it like a video game.
It’s not a game for the families of the fallen. And just this week, we saw campaign fundraising stuff being shared, emails where the president’s campaign was raising money using pictures of him during a dignified transfer.”
“Any politician who does that has no business leading American troops in war.
If the president is okay with raising money from the bodies of America’s war dead, he’s not fit to be commander-in-chief.”
We couldn’t agree more.
It’s really upsetting to see how far Trump and his team will go to get every last dollar from their fans. Nothing is sacred to them; it’s all just a game for their own fun, without caring about the lives and money lost by the American people.
