The White House is in chaos as top officials are trying to blame each other instead of taking responsibility for the Minnesota ICE shooting.
Axios reports that Stephen Miller, a hard-line immigration official who helped create the administration’s strict immigration policies, told Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem to say that the man who was killed, Alex Pretti, wanted to attack law enforcement.
This happened even before any investigation had started and without knowing the full story.
Miller decided on this story before any facts were known, and Noem repeated it, saying, “Everything I’ve done, I’ve done at the direction of the president and Stephen.”
Sources say that right after the shooting, Miller already knew what the story would be — that Pretti was coming to attack cops.
So he told Homeland Security to create a statement about Pretti’s gun, which started a misleading and exaggerated narrative.
Miller then posted on X calling the dead man a “would-be assassin,” which Noem and Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino also used in their statements, painting Pretti as a threat without real proof.
This isn’t just spin — it’s made-up reasons for violence.
Despite videos and witness accounts showing Pretti had a phone, not a gun, and was helping others at the scene, Trump administration officials rushed to condemn him, using words that justified the killing before any facts were even checked.
Noem has privately said she feels like she’s been left alone in this mess, but she made sure to say that all her statements were based on orders from Miller and the president.
She’s trying to avoid taking any blame for her actions.
This whole situation shows that when a federal official is killed, instead of doing a careful and honest response, the White House is trying to cover things up with a political lie.
A man was shot to death, and instead of waiting for facts, the top immigration strategist ordered a false story.
The Homeland Security Secretary just repeated what she was told and claimed she was following orders — but that excuse didn’t work at the Nuremberg Trials and it won’t work now, especially once Trump is gone.
This isn’t real leadership.
It’s propaganda. It’s a cover-up.
And America deserves better than a White House that treats the truth like something that can be bargained with — especially when innocent lives are at stake.
Please like and share if you want all of them to be held accountable: Miller, Noem, Bovino, and most importantly, their boss, Donald Trump!
