It’s those tough, frustrating times at the White House, where things are getting really bad, like the emperor has no clothes.
This afternoon, Karoline Leavitt made a public statement saying, “If Iran doesn’t realize the current situation, if they don’t understand they’ve already been defeated militarily and will keep being defeated, President Trump will make sure they face even worse consequences than before.
President Trump isn’t joking, and he is ready to take extreme action. Iran should not make another mistake.”
“She said their last mistake cost them their top leaders, their navy, their air force, and their air defense system.
Any more violence from now on will be because the Iranian government still doesn’t get they’ve already lost and refuse to make a deal.”
Right.
So we’re sending thousands of U.S. Marines to the Middle East because… Iran is defeated and the war is over, they just don’t realize it yet?
Every day of this war brings more embarrassing behavior from the Trump administration.
Every day, Pete Hegseth promises the biggest strikes ever.
Every day, Trump announces “the war is won!”
And every time he says that, the media quickly follows with a story about how we’ve lost all our bases, or how the number of injured has gone over 300, or how we lost a half-billion-dollar radar plane essential to the war effort.
George Orwell would be shocked to see his harsh satire of authoritarian manipulation from 1984 being surpassed by a trophy wife from New Hampshire acting on behalf of a disturbed man, but that is the world we have to live in.
