Fox Business Network host Dagen McDowell gave a strong critique about former Attorney General Pam Bondi’s time in her role on Thursday. On The Big Money Show, McDowell criticized Bondi, who was removed from her position that same day, for how she managed the DOJ files related to Jeffrey Epstein.
“She started off by really messing up the release of the Jeffrey Epstein documents,” McDowell said.
“And the whole year was just a series of problems, handled really badly. That was one of the main issues, even though she was clearly loyal to President Trump and had a solid background.”
McDowell’s partner on the show, Brian Brenberg, also gave a tough assessment.
“I felt throughout the whole thing that there were big promises of information,” Brenberg said.
“But it always felt like nothing happened. People were like, ‘Wait, we thought we were getting transparency. It feels like we’re just getting confusion.’”
As Brenberg mentioned, people from all sides of the political spectrum were happy to see Bondi leave her job.
“Bondi didn’t handle the Epstein Files well and made things worse for President Trump,” said Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) in a post on X. “I look forward to a new Attorney General who is committed to justice for the victims of Jeffrey Epstein.”
