Washington DC – The House Oversight Committee recently shared a list of people who are said to have helped build the wealth of Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex trafficker.
According to Politico, Republican Representative and committee chair James Comer told reporters on Wednesday that Epstein’s accountant, Richard Kahn, named several wealthy individuals who reportedly involved in “significant transactions” related to the financier.
The names included former Apollo Global Management CEO Leon Black, hedge fund investor Glenn Dubin, former Microsoft Windows Division President Steven Sinofsky, and former Victoria’s Secret CEO Les Wexner.
Kahn also mentioned the Rothschilds, a wealthy Jewish banking family.
Comer explained that Kahn believed Epstein made his money as a tax advisor and financial planner.
“So these were the five people that transferred significant sums of money to Epstein,” he said.
This list adds more details to the investigation into Epstein’s inner circle and could lead to the committee asking those named to give testimony.
A spokesperson for Black, who has said he is willing to answer questions, said Kahn did not bring up any new information during the interview.
Dubin’s spokesperson denied that Dubin ever worked with Epstein.
Sinofsky did not comment.
Wexner’s spokesperson, who received a letter last week asking for his testimony, claimed he “did not send money to Epstein” and said the late financier actually “stole” over $100 million from Wexner.
