Thank everybody very much and, uh, I’m asked to take a few questions and unlike other politicians, they want the questions checked first,” Trump said at the Future Investment Initiative, a Saudi conference in Miami. “You can ask me anything you want. You can talk about sex, you can do whatever the hell you want. I’m here for you.”
Thankfully, no one in the audience was crazy or sick enough to actually “talk sex” with this 79-year-old man who’s been accused of child sexual abuse.
Still, the idea that he suggested having a public conversation about sex is a worrying sign of how low the presidency has sunk. Imagine if President Obama or Biden had said something like that at a public event—there would have been a lot of angry reactions at Fox News.
This is the same man that Evangelicals look up to as a model of Christian values.
But Trump’s life has been full of sexual misconduct and crimes, from cheating on his wives to being accused of sexually abusing young boys through Jeffrey Epstein.
At this point, there’s no point in arguing about Trump’s mental state.
He’s clearly getting worse, and no one in his team has the courage to call him out because they’re too focused on power. These MAGA followers are using his declining mind to push through their racist, authoritarian, and corrupt policies, and the rest of us will have to deal with the results.
