In the clip in question, Trump was seen going up the stairs into Air Force One as the wind gently blew.
He stopped at the top to give a thumbs up to someone on the tarmac and then tried to get inside. That’s when things got tricky.
The footage shows the 79-year-old man stepping into the plane, with the umbrella wide open behind him, making it hard to see his shape.
He seems to have trouble closing the umbrella, and the weak wind is too much for his body. A man who looks like a Secret Service agent then steps behind the umbrella and takes it from Trump. Trump then walks into the cabin as the agent easily closes the umbrella.
It might seem like a small thing to point out, but it’s the kind of moment that the mainstream media kept focusing on when Biden was president.
And considering that Trump has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency and is showing more signs of dementia, the American people have a right to be worried about his health. We deserve to know if the man who has control of our nuclear codes is physically breaking down.
Social media had a lot to say about the clip.
“If Joe Biden couldn’t close his umbrella, there would have been about 1,000 articles in American newspapers asking if he could still do the job of president,” wrote one X user.
“But Biden didn’t have the brain issues that Trump shows every day,” wrote another X user.
