Donald Trump, who is known for not reading his briefings, has often claimed that he personally settled a dispute between Albania and Azerbaijan. However, the real conflict is still ongoing between Azerbaijan and its neighbor, Armenia. Albania is located far away in the Balkans, so it’s not involved in that conflict.
This situation has amused several world leaders who are tired of Trump’s behavior.
Albania’s Prime Minister, Edi Rama, joked with France’s President, Macron, saying, “You should apologize to us because you didn’t congratulate us on the peace deal that President Trump made between Albania and Azerbaijan.”
Macron responded with a laugh, saying, “I am sorry for that!”
Earlier, Trump boasted on Fox News that he solved wars that were once unsolvable, including the conflict between Azerbaijan and Albania, which had lasted for many years.
He claimed to have brought the leaders together in his office. However, a peace deal was actually reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and it’s clear that Trump had very little to do with it. In fact, he doesn’t even know who was involved in the talks.
Trump is causing embarrassment for his country and is a disgrace to the nation.
It will take many years to restore the country’s reputation in the international community, as he has done significant damage to its standing.
