Donald Trump celebrated the Fourth of July by giving his family custom cookies, though they might have been a bit strange to eat because they had his face on them. The cookies were served on Air Force One and showed Trump, who is 80 years old, standing next to former presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln, all carved into Mount Rushmore.
Trump’s daughter-in-law, Bettina Trump, showed a picture of the cookie on her Instagram Story after she got one on the plane.
Someone on X (formerly Twitter) said, “Trump is serving Mount Rushmore cookies with his face on it on his Qatari plane tonight,” referring to the Boeing 747-8 that was once used by the Qatari royal family and later given to Trump as his presidential jet.

A CNN reporter named Betsy Klein pointed out that the cookies given to reporters were different from the ones given to the Trump family.
She posted a picture showing that the reporters got cookies without Trump’s face. She wrote, “The cookies served to the first family and to the press aboard Air Force One today were… different.”
As the president and his family traveled to the national monument for an Independence Day speech on “American exceptionalism,” they were given the patriotic cookies.
During the speech, Trump talked about the Cold War and warned about the “mortal threat” of communism. He also used the speech to talk about himself, saying he hasn’t received the Nobel Peace Prize even though he claims to have ended eight wars.
Trump is known for putting his name on buildings and using his own picture a lot.
In an appearance on a children’s show hosted by Usha Vance, he said that John F.Kennedy was “the second most good-looking president,” suggesting he might be number one.
In December, Trump renamed the U.S.
Institute of Peace building to “Donald J.Trump United States Institute of Peace,” saying it reflects “the greatest dealmaker in our nation’s history.” He also tried to add his name to the John F.Kennedy Memorial Center, but a federal court ruled that it was illegal without congressional approval, so his name was removed.
Trump has also introduced a “Trump Gold Card” visa with a $15,000 processing fee and a $1 million payment for those wanting to live in the U.S.
There’s also a Trump-branded passport, a proposed $250 bill with his image, and a new U.S.commemorative coin that combines his favorite things: gold and looking “tough.”
Despite his interest in being added to Mount Rushmore, officials at the South Dakota monument say there’s no space left.
The four presidents already there are each around 60 feet tall, and there’s no room for another.
